Aeroméxico is a Mexican airline headquartered in Mexico City International Airport, at the Monterrey International Airport. Aeroméxico and its subsidiary, Aeromexico Connect, are part of Group Aeromexico, S.A.B de C.V, a holding company whose subsidiaries provide commercial aviation services in Mexico.
The airline was founded in 1934 and serves over 80 destinations on 4 continents, which including Mexico, United States, Latin America, Europe, Canada, and Asia. In an attempt to gain a greater worldwide presence and to strengthen its network, in recent years Aeroméxico has started to develop new international markets. This has included a number of new destinations, including Santo Domingo, Vancouver, Toronto, Boston, Medellín, Amsterdam, Cozumel, and Austin (Texas), which were all launched in 2016. A popular service between Mexico City to Seoul also launched in 2017.
The airline is a founding member of the SkyTeam Alliance, and has a strengthened partnership with Delta Air Lines - which owns part of Aeroméxico and, through a joint commercial agreement, share information, costs and revenue on all flights between the United States and Mexico.

Aeroméxico has a different baggage policy for carry and checked baggage policy. As standard, no baggage is provided free of charge. As standard, you're allowed 1 free personal item free of charge.
The basic and main cabin fare includes one standard piece of carry-on baggage, plus one personal item, which can be carried into the cabin. The standard baggage item and personal item each need to have the maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 25cm (21.5 in x 15.7 in x 10 in). Combined, the two items need to weigh up to a maximum of 10kg (22 lb).
The maximum combined weight of carry-on luggage for Clase Premier passengers is 18kg (39 lb). Each item must measure up to or less than 55cm x 40cm x 25cm (21.5 in x 15.7 in x 10 in).
Please note that all checked bags must measure up to the max linear dimensions of 62 inches (158 cm). For oversized bags excess baggage fees will apply.

Grupo Aeromexico, the parent of Mexico City-based airline Aeromexico, has experienced a positive and encouraging uplift following the difficulties of 2020 as a result of the global Coronavirus pandemic. In the fourth quarter of 2020, the airline’s revenue declined 58% year-on-year. However, the airline has stated that it believes it has turned a corner, having hit 'significant milestones'.

Aeromexico is scaling down on flights to Europe until the end of 2020. The airline has reduced the number of times that it'll operate its European routes until the end of April 2020. The airline is still scheduled to fly to other international destinations, as well as operating all of its usual domestic flights within Mexico.
