Tips for flying gluten-free
1. Bring your own food
If you're worried the airline you're flying with doesn't appear in the list above. Consider bringing your own gluten-free snacks or meal for the plane. Check out our guide to bringing your own food on the plane, to make sure you comply with rules and regulations.
2. Feel free to double-check your food
While traveling, its extremely important to look after your well-being. If something doesn't look right with your meal, don't hesitate to ask the cabin crew to double check that your meal is gluten-free.
3. Make sure you call well in advance to book
Although many airlines might ask you to reserve one or two days in advance, calling them as early as possible gives staff enough time to make sure that there are enough gluten-free meals on board your flight.
5. Let the cabin crew know straight away
Once on board your flight, let the cabin crew know straight away that you require a gluten-free meal. This will stop you having to get there attention to explain later on.
