Which Klarna payment options are available with Alternative Airlines?
At Alternative Airlines, you can use the following Klarna payment options to pay for airfares:
- Pay now — giving you the option to pay for your airline tickets at the time of purchase
- Pay later — giving you the option to pay for your airline tickets within 14, 30 or 60 days
- Pay over time (Slice It) — giving you the option to pay for your flights on a monthly payment plan of between 3—24 months
Do I need to register with Klarna to pay for flight tickets?
No, you don't have to register with Klarna to pay for airline tickets unless you choose the pay now with direct debit. Buying flights with Klarna is simple and seamless. Klarna remembers you if you've used them to pay for goods before with Alternative Airlines or with any other online retailers or service, so you don't have to enter your details everytime you make a new purchase.
What if I want to create a Klarna account?
If you would like to make a Klarna account to view the history of your flight purchases and any other purchase you've made with Klarna, simply visit the Klarna website to sign up.
Will Klarna accept me?
Klarna assesses each application individually, but your previous credit record plays a factor. To better your chances of being accepted, Klarna asks that you make sure all your payment and billing details are correct. Additionally, if the total value of your purchase is lower, you'll have a better chance of being accepted.
Credit record doesn't apply to the pay now payment options.
Is Klarna available in the US?
At the moment, Klarna isn't available to use in the US with Alternative Airlines. If you're a US resident, looking to buy a flight now and pay it back in monthly payments, you can use Affirm. Affirm is an American based financing company, which allows you to make purchases and pay back over time. Alternatively, you can use PayPal credit.
Is Klarna available in the UK?
If you're a resident in the UK, you can use Klarna with the following options:
