Baggage
Carry-on Baggage
One piece of carry-on baggage and one small personal item are permitted per passenger. Carry-on baggage for flights must not exceed total dimensions of 45 linear inches (115cm).
Checked Baggage
Checked baggage allowance will vary depending on the ticket purchased. However, the checked baggage must not weigh over 50lbs (23kg) nor must it exceed the maximum dimensions of 62in (157cm).
Musical Instrument Policy

Check-in
Online Check-In
If you have made a reservation with Alternative Airlines, you will be able to check in online up to 24 hours before flight departure by entering using our online check-in page. Once you have checked in online, you can print your boarding pass or download your e-boarding boarding pass onto your handheld device.
Airport Check-In
If you prefer to check in at the airport for your flight, you can do so at the airport check-in desk. For domestic flights, the airport check-in closes 30 minutes before scheduled flight departure time on most flights. However, airport check-in closes 45 minutes before on the following airports, unless stated otherwise:

Food
Meal Options
The airline offers a wide range of food options on its flights, from snacks of Biscoff biscuits to 3-course meals. Passengers in Basic Economy and Main cabin are given complimentary snacks, and can purchase meal items from the Flight Fuel menu, for flights over 900 miles. Passengers in first class are given complimentary food on flights, from premium snacks on short flights, lighter meals on medium flights and a full meal service on longer flights. Passengers flying in First class are given premium seasonal and regional menus.
Special Dietary Requirements
The airline can offer a variety of meals to suit special dietary requirements. This must be done by calling or booking online in MyTrips, at least 24 hours before flying. The following are the meals available:

Frequent Flyer Programme
Delta passengers can earn miles through Skymiles and once a member, passengers can then earn miles towards Award Travel based on ticket price and their SkyMiles status. In 2013, Delta was the world's largest airline in terms of scheduled passengers carried and capacity. One of Delta's largest hubs is Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which is located seven miles south of the central business district of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It has been the world's busiest airport by passenger traffic since 1998. Economy Class
Economy Class is also known as Basic Economy and you will be able to enjoy the Main Cabin experience but at a lower cost.
Economy Class facilities
Amenities included in Basic Economy Class is a selection of snacks such as chocolate, pretzels and peanuts and non-alcoholic beverages such as tea, juices and Starbucks Coffee. Alcoholic beverages are not served on flight journeys less than 350 miles. Wi-Fi is available to buy at a small fee on may flights and you will receive complimentary access to in-flight messaging. Delta studio is available with a wide range of shows, movies and entertainment. Carry-on bag is permitted but may be checked at the boarding gate due to overhead locker space being limited. Ticket refunds and changes are not available in this class.
What are Economy Class seats like?
Assigned seats are free after check-in. If a seat number is not displayed on your boarding pass, then your seat will be assigned at the boarding gate, before boarding the aircraft. Your boarding pass will instead display, “Seat Assigned at Gate”.
Premium Economy Class
Premium Economy comes in two fares; Main Cabin and Delta Comfort+. In the main cabin, passengers will receive select premium amenities at a much lower price, such as entertainment, an improved service, and the ability to select a seat for their flight.
Premium Economy Class Facilities
Passengers in Comfort+ will receive premium meals and snacks on their flights, improved from the standard served in the main cabin. They will also receive complimentary priority boarding.

Delta adds branded boarding to all flights
Today, a new branded boarding system was launched that sees the priority of boarding match and reflect the fare purchased by the passenger. The new branded boarding is coloured coded to highlight the priority of boarding and fare purchased and is present across Delta's website, app and eventually on its boarding passes.
The boarding priority is as follows:
- Delta One
- Delta Premium Select or First Class
- Delta Comfort +
- Sky Priority
- Main Cabin 1
- Main Cabin 2
- Main Cabin 3
- Basic Economy
The new branded boarding is implemented on all flights.

Delta adds seats to help College Football Playoff fans support their team
The airline has announced that it will be adding over 1,500 seats around the College Football Playoffs to help football fans see their team in action. The airline will also add additional services to destinations hosting the games. Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Clemson Tiger fans flying from Dallas Fort Worth on the 28th December are able to make the most of additional services to see the game. Alabama Crimson Tide and Oklahoma Sooners fans will also be happy to hear that the airline is increasing its services to and from Miami International on the 28th December.

Eco-friendly policy launched
Delta continues its sustainability work by removing single-use plastics onboard its planes. This involves removing the plastic wrapping from cutlery in it’s international Main Cabin. It is believed this effort will eliminate over 300,000lbs of plastic waste annually.
In addition, they have created a Youth Advisory Council to aid the airlines approach to a more sustainable and plastic-free future. They have also already made efforts to be eco-friendly by replacing plastic straws with a bamboo drink stirrers.
The aircraft has already completed its test flight, and commenced full operation on January 31st 2019.
