The 25 new routes will launch between May 1 and July 2, 2018 and include international services such as Vancouver to Paris and Zurich, Toronto to Buenos Aries and Shannon, and Montreal to Tokyo-Narita and Bucharest. The routes include a combination of Air Canada mainline, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express services. Flights are timed to connect conveniently with Air Canada's global network at major hubs, provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption, Star Alliance reciprocal benefits, and for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access where available, priority boarding and other benefits.

Air Canada Signature Class - passengers flying in the Signature Class are offered meals inspired by the destinations travelling to, such as chicken biryani, Moroccan tagine and dim sum for flights to Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. Passengers can be flexible with the time they wish to eat, meaning they are not fixed to eat at the time of the eating schedule. In addition, there is the option to choose a express light meal for a lighter option.
North America & Caribbean Business Class, Premium Economy (International and select North American routes) and International Economy Class - Passengers are given a complimentary hot meal with salad, bread and dessert.
Premium Economy (Shorter flights within North America) - passengers are given a light breakfast or snacks.
North America & Caribbean Economy Class and North America & Caribbean Rouge Class - On these classes, passengers are offered Air Canada Bistro meals for purchase which includes breakfasts, snacks, meals for lunches and dinners. The Bistro menu is available for most flights which are longer than 90 minutes, with fresh meals being available on flights of 2 or more hours and those departing before 10pm.

Air Canada Special Dietary Requirements
Special meals (within North America) are available in Premium Economy within North America and in Business class within North America. For International Flights, special meals will be available on all classes where a meal service is provided. Any flights which offers Air Canada Bistro service, special meals will not be available, as the menu already caters to many different tastes and requirements, including Kosher-certified products.
For passengers who require a Kosher special meal, or for any special meals on flights departing Germany or Switzerland, they must be ordered at least 24 hours prior to flight departure time. Air Canada and Air China sign a new partnership deal
Air Canada and Air China recently signed the contract for a new joint venture that has been in the works for quite some time. The new agreement will be the first partnership deal between a Chinese and North American Airlines and will see Air Canada share more than $1 billion USD in revenue on flights between the carriers respective home countries, Canada and China.
The deal had been in the negotiation stage for the past four years, but this week the two airlines finally came to an agreement. The deal between Air Canada and Air China was commemorated with a champagne celebration in Beijing on the day that the contract was signed. Air Canada and Air China currently operate 52 joint flights a week and many involved with the airlines are describing the partnership as a very important event in their history.
Air Canada Chief Executive stated the joint venture is a great opportunity for Air Canada as Chinese aviation is estimated to become the world's largest aviation market in the next four years.

Air Canada Launches into Summer 2018 with the First of 25 New Non-Stop Routes Beginning this Season
Air Canada today inaugurates non-stop service between Toronto and Omaha, the first of 25 new year-round and seasonal routes the carrier is launching this summer. The new non-stop routes are consistent with company growth plans and will extend Air Canada's network with new destinations and city pairings in Canada, the U.S. and internationally to give customers greater choice and convenience when they travel.
