Cayman Airways is the national flag carrier of the British Overseas Territory of the Cayman Islands. The airline operates both an international and domestic scheduled passenger carrier, flying to many destinations including Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, Little Cayman, Miami, New York, Tampa, Chicago, Dallas, Havana, Holguin, Kingston, Montego Bay and La Ceiba.
The airline was established in 1968 and was formed following the Cayman Government's purchase of 51% of 'Cayman Brac Airways', which was founded in 1955.
Currently, the airline operates a fleet of Boeing 737-300/700/800/MAX 8 jets, as well as de Havilland and Saab aircraft, from their base at Grand Cayman. The airline's Cayman Airways Express service also operates Twin Otter aircraft between Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands of Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. Since 1968, Cayman Airways has been operating a Boeing 737 to and from various destinies in the Cayman Islands.

Passengers are entitled to one item of carry-on baggage, included in the price of their ticket. This baggage must fit within the dimensions of 22 x 35 x 55 cm. This applies for all fare classes.
The airline entitles all Economy passengers to 2 pieces of checked-in baggage, with a maximum weight of 55 lbs per bag.
Business Class passengers are allowed 3 pieces of checked-in baggage with a maximum weight of 55 lbs. Cayman Airways is the only airline offering customers 2 free checked bags of up to 55lbs each, plus free Rum Punch aboard every international flight to and from the Cayman Islands.
For all passengers, checked bags must measure a max of 62 linear inches (157cm).
Checking easily and securely with the airline Cayman Airways online check-in page. Passengers can check-in online 24 hours before scheduled flight departure. Online check-in will close two hours before departure. Passengers must arrive at the departure gate 90 minutes before a Cayman Airways flight.
Passenger must check-in for their Cayman Airways international flights no later than one hour before their flight is scheduled to leave (this is when check-in closes). Cayman Airways ask that passengers arrive at the airport between three—two hours before their flight to ensure there is enough time to check-in, drop any bags and pass security.
Passengers must check-in for their Cayman Airways domestic flight no later than 30 minutes before their flight is scheduled to leave (this is when check-in closes off).
Airport check-in for Cayman Airways flights can be completed by visiting one of the Cayman Airways check-in agents at the Cayman Airways check-in desks.
Economy Class is the airline's most affordable class of travel.
Meals: Passengers can order food and drink from the airline's in-flight menu. A complimentary meal is served on our longest international flight.
Entertainment: There isn't any in-flight entertainment, except for a selection of in-flight magazines which can be found in the back pocket of the seat in front of each passenger.
Seats are set out in a 3 x 3 formation and give ample legroom and space to each passenger.
The Business Class cabin is available on select Cayman Airways flights.
The Business Class service is carried out by the airline's specially trained Business Class cabin crew. The cabin crew is warm, friendly and attentive.
Meals: Each passenger is welcomed with a bottle of water. Once the flight has taken-off, passengers can order complimentary drinks — both alcoholic and non-alcoholic — and choose from a variety of sandwiches on shorter flights and hot meals on longer flights.
Entertainment: There is no inflight entertainment on this service.
Business Class seats are laid out in a 2 x 2 formation. Each seat gives much larger recline and legroom in comparison to Economy Class.
WiFi is not currently available on Cayman Airways flights.
