About ATA Airlines
ATA Airlines is an American airline that used to be called American Trans Air. It was a low-cost airline based at Indianapolis International Airport (formerly OneJet's hub) that also handled charter flights, ATA flew around the USA as well as some US territories such as Puerto Rico. ATA's also flew to 35 international destinations such as Mexico. The airline declared bankruptcy in 2008 and unfortunately never recovered.
