From 25th July 2017, Tigerair merged with Scoot and now works under the brand name Scoot.
Tigerair Taiwan is a low-cost carrier airline based at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, in Taiwan.
Tigerair Taiwan flies to many destinations including Bangkok, Tokyo, Taipei, Zhangjiejia, Singapore, Osaka, Naha, Macau, Kaoshiung.
Tigerair Taiwan fleet consists of an Airbus A320-200 and is the only Taiwan based low-cost carrier. The airline was formed as a joint venture between China Airlines and Budget Aviation Holdings. In 2017, Tigerair Singapore merged into Scoot.
The airline operates from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to destinations such as Thailand, Japan, Singapore, China and Macau.

Tigerair announce new promotion
To celebrate the end of the financial year, Tigerair Australia have announced a sale, selling tickets from $40.25. These new domestic deals should keep the Australian airline warm this winter! The promotion will last for all flights during August but you will have to take a mid-week flight in order to score the best deals! All sales fares exclude checked baggage, in-flight meals and entertainment but at these prices, who cares!

Tiger Airways refuse to cancel flights out of Melbourne
Extreme weather conditions have caused flights to be cancelled out of Melbourne Airport. low clouds and poor visibility, in the wake of an oncoming storm, have wrecked havoc on flyers plansin the last hours, including Qantas flights. Tigerair, or Tiger Airways, however, have confirmedt that i tddid not cancel any of its services due to these conditions. Although safety Tigerair's main priorty was safety, it wanted to keep passenger disruptions to a minimum.

Tigerair Taiwan extends Wuxi reservation into W17
tigerair Taiwan in recent schedule update opened bookings for Taipei Taoyuan – Wuxiservice for winter season, effective from 29OCT17. In winter season, the airline will continue to operate this route 3 times a week, complementing existing China Airlines’ 4 weekly flights.
This service, launched on 23SEP17, is operated by China Airlines Boeing 737-800 aircraft. In initial report on Airlineroute on 01AUG17, it was stated as A320 operation, however the airline has changed to 737-800 around 02/03AUG17. Despite operated by tigerair Taiwan under IT-coded flight number, full service is being offered on this route, identical to China Airlines’ service.

tigerair Taiwan in winter 2017/18 season is expanding operational frequencies on existing routes to Japan and Korea. Planned service increase as follow.
Taipei Taoyuan – Busan eff 16DEC17 Increase from 3 to 5 weekly (Day x25)
Taipei Taoyuan – Fukuoka eff 29OCT17 Increase from 4 to 7 weekly
Taipei Taoyuan – Okayama eff 29OCT17 Increase from 4 to 5 weekly (Day x36), 6 weekly (Day x6) from 16DEC17

Tigerair Taiwan increases Kaohiung - Macau from December 2017
tigerair Taiwan in winter 2017/18 season plans to expand Kaohsiung – Macau service, currently served once a day. From 16DEC17, the airline will introduce 2nd daily flight, operating at evening hours. Planned schedule as follow.
