About Thai Smile Air
Thai Smile Air (Thai: การบินไทยสมายล์) is a low-cost regional airline based in Thailand. This airline is a fully-owned subsidiary of it’s parent airline, Thai Airways. Thai Smile was founded in 2011, and started flying operations in 2012. It has it’s headquarters in Bangkok, and has it’s hub at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Thai Smile currently has a fleet of 20 aircraft, flying to a total of 27 destinations primarily in Thailand, but also Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Malaysia and Myanmar

The airline is a member of the Star Alliance programme, and has a frequent flyer programme called Royal Orchid Plus.

Carry-on Baggage Policy
Passengers are permitted one carry-on item, measuring a maximum of 56 x 45 x 25cm and weighing no more than 7kg.
In addition, passengers are permitted an additional personal item as carry-on luggage. This is items such as a camera, walking stick, small handbag, wallet or purse.
Checked Baggage Policy
All Thai Smile passengers receive 20kg of free checked luggage. Passengers travelling with a Smile Plus ticket will be permitted an extra 10kg, totalling 30kg of checked luggage.
