Orient Thai Airlines is a Thai airline, operating charter and scheduled services in Southeast Asia.
The airline is based at Don Mueang International Airport. Complimentary snacks and beverages are offered during the flight services on Orient Thai Airlines. Orient Thai Airlines announced it will begin direct Bangkok - Hualien charter flights on 2nd July
The Hualian county government team said that they support the new southbound policy of the Tsai government by actively opening routes from Southeast Asia, with more and more Thai Airlines and Taiwan distributors to negotiate direct charter programs. Starting on July 2, 2017, the first Orient Thai Airline flight will use a Boeing 767 which is a large aircraft with a capacity of 260 passengers to fly to Hualien. Hualien Airport can accommodate Boeing medium-sized aircraft, and the county magistrate and military will coordinate on giving assistance to promote and develop tourism in Hualien.
