About Lacsa Airlines
LACSA Costa Rica is now known as Avianca Costa Rica and is the national airline of Costa Rica, headquartered in San Jose. The airline operates international services to over 35 destinations in North, Central and South America as well as domestic flights within Costa Rica.
In 2013, Avianca Costa Rica became one of seven nationally branded airlines (along with Avianca Honduras, Avianca Brasil and Avianca Equador) under the Avianca Holdings group of Latin American airlines. The airline's legal name of the airline remains OceanAir, however, it has been rebranded as Avianca since it is owned by Synergy Group, which owns Avianca Holdings.
