About Jin Air
JinAir is a Korean low-cost airline headquartered in Gangseo-gu, in Seoul, South Korea.
The airline was founded in 2008 and has grown to be recognised as the most ‘beloved’ and leading low-cost airline in Korea. JinAir's main hubs are Gimpo International Aiport and Incheon International Airport.
From 2008, Jin air commenced operations by flying to regional locations in Korea and by 2015, Jin Air flew its first long-haul service between Honolulu and Incheon. Now JinAir operates numerous flights to 5 domestic and 22 international destinations.
Starting May 29, JinAir, which first launched service to Hawai‘i in December 2015, will offer Honolulu service five times each week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) between Honolulu and Seoul. Jin Air will start interline sales on April 26.

Carry-on Baggage
Passengers are allowed one item of carry-on luggage, weighing a maximum of 12kg and must fit within the combined dimensions of 115cm.
In addition, passengers are permitted one small personal item, for example a small handbag, a coat or a laptop case.
Checked Baggage
Checked baggage must fit the dimensions of combined width, length and height of 203cm unless otherwise stated. The weight allocation is as follows:
For passengers flying domestically within Korea, passengers are permitted 15kg of luggage.
For passengers flying within South-East Asia, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao or Taipei, passengers are permitted 15kg of checked luggage.
For passengers travelling in China Mainland, 20kg is the maximum checked luggage allowed.
For passengers travelling to Guam / Saipan / Honolulu, passengers are permitted 2 items of checked luggage, with each weighing 23kg. The size of each piece must be no more than 158cm, and the total of the two pieces must be less than 273cm.
For passengers travelling to Cairns, passengers are permitted one piece weighing 23kg. This piece must be less than 158cm in dimensions.

Online Check-In
Jin Air offer online check-in for their domestic flights and international flights that depart from Incheon or Busan. This opens 24 hours before flying, and will close 30 minutes prior to departure for Korean domestic flights, or 1.5hours prior to departure for international flights. JinAir, one of the Korean budget airlines see huge profit jump in Q1 2018
Budget airlines in Korea have seen a big year-on-year rise in profit in the first quarter of 2018. Their combined profit has more than doubled in comparison to the same time frame in 2017.
The figures are taken from the collective operating profits ofKorea's six low-cost carriers — one of which is JinAir — and show that numbers increased by 131% to bring in 186.1 billion won. Meanwhile, revenue was at 1.18 trillion won, meaning that the combined revenue grew by 34.2%. The other five low-cost Korean carriers include JejuAir, T'way Air, Eastar Jet, Air Busan, and Air Seoul.
The boost in numbers could be due to the fast-growing demand for international and domestic flights within Korea and the rest of the world.

South Korea's Low Cost Carriers achieve huge increase in profit!
The main budget carriers in South Korea have reported a combined revenue of 278.8 billion won, ($257.9 million) in 2017, up twofold from the year before. This impressive figure was achieved by the diversifying of Low Cost Carrier (LCC) routes and extending the breadth of their markets. Easter Jet, along with Jeju Air, Jin Air and others have increased their sales by 35% year-on-year. Operating income has surged by a whopping 92.7%. This has come despite a loss in China traffic due to diplomatic tension in the region.Of the six largest budget airlines, Jeju Air's earnings topped 101 billion won, with its sales reported at 996.3 billion won. The operating profit marks the first time that a budget carrier exceeded the 100 billion-won mark.Eastar Jet saw gains in sales and operating profit in 2017 and the numbers for Jin Air and T'way advanced at a sharp pace, with the latter escaping from a state of capital impairment last year.
Related to last year's market developments, a transport ministry official said there will be even greater competition to attract travelers this year, with local LCCs moving to acquire more passenger jets and generally engaging in aggressive marketing efforts."Every effort will be made to reduce any fallouts from stiffer competition, with companies to be encouraged to expand flights and offer more services to customers," he said.

Jin Air and Island Air announce interline partnership
Jin Air and Island Air have announced an interline partnership which will allow travellers to book connections between Jin Air's network throughout South East Asia and Korea and the Hawaiian Islands. The agreement, which took effect from 26th April 2017, means travelers on Jin air between Honolulu and Seoul can connect easily to a neighbour island by flying on Island Air. The two airlines will have three interline routes, including Incheon-Honolulu-Kahului, Incheon-Honolulu-Kona, and Incheon-Honolulu-Līhu‘e.
