About Jeju Air
Jeju Air is the first low-cost Korean airline based in Jeju City, Jeju-do in South Korea. The airline operates the busiest route from Gimpo-Jeju, but also more than 20 major routes in Asia, such as Japan, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Guam, including other domestic routes.
Jeju Air flies to many destinations including Beijing, Jiamusi, Qingdao, Sanya, Shijiazhuang, Weihai, Hong Kong, Macau, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Okinawa, Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo, Matsuyama, Muan, Vientiane, Busan, Cheongju, Daegu, Gwangju, Jeju, Seoul, Kota Kinabalu, Guam, Saipan, Cebu, Manila, Vladivokstok, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taipei, Bangkok, Da Nang, Hanoi, Tokyo Narita and Nha Trang.
Jeju Air offers scheduled domestic services between Jeju island, outside of Korea and Seoul. Jeju Air was established in 2005 and in 2016, merged with Value Alliance which is known as the world’s first Low Cost Carrier alliance. The alliance comprises of 8 Asia Pacific organisations which include Jeju air, Nok, NokScoot, Cebu Pacific, Scoot, Vanilla Air and Cebgo. The airline has recently announced new routes from Muan to Vladivostok and Tokyo.
In December 2016, Jeju Air acquired a Boeing 737-800 which was formerly operated by Ryanair. It was seen arriving at Dublin from Bournemouth where it was painted into the Jeju Air livery. The aircraft was delivered to South Korea in January 2017. In 2016, Jeju Air celebrated transporting cumulative 30 million passengers. In May 2016, Jeju Air celebrated launching Seoul - Busan route and later the Incheon - Taipei route was launched.

Carry-on Baggage
Jeju Air passengers are allowed bring one item of carry-on baggage on their flight with them. This bag must weigh no more than 10kg and be no larger than 55 x 40 x 20 cm.
Checked Baggage
The free checked baggage allowance will depend on which fare class passengers buy and where they're flying to/from.
Domestic Flights
Jeju Air passengers travelling 'Fly' are not given free checked baggage with the price of their ticket.
Jeju Air passengers travelling 'Fly Bag' are allowed 15kg of checked baggage included in the price of their ticket.
Jeju Air passengers travelling Fly Bag+ are allowed 20kg of checked baggage included in the price of their ticket.
All baggage must not exceed the size of 203cm overall.
International flights (excluding America)
Jeju Air passengers travelling 'Fly' are not given free checked baggage.
Jeju Air passengers travelling 'Fly Bag' are allowed 15kg of checked baggage included with their ticket fare.
Jeju Air passengers travelling Fly Bag+ are allowed 20kg of checked baggage included with their ticket fare.
To/from America
All Jeju Air passengers in any class are entitled to two items of free checked baggage, weighing 23kg per piece. Each piece of baggage must not exceed the overall dimensions of 273cm.
Jeju Air Check-In Information
Online Check-In
Passengers can check-in online through the Jeju Air online check-in page. From here you can retrieve an online boarding pass or retrieve a mobile boarding pass.
For domestic flights, online check-in opens 24 hours before your Jeju Air flight departs and closes 30 minutes before.
For international flights, online check-in opens 24 hours before your Jeju Air flight departs and closes one hour and 30 minutes before.
Airport Check-in
Passengers can check-in for their Jeju Air flight at the airport by visiting one of the Jeju Air check-in counters. Arrive at the check-in counter least 40 minutes before scheduled departure time for domestic flights and at least 2 hours before for internationa flights.
Jeju Air Fleet
Jeju Air's fleet consists solely of Boeing B737-800s. The airline has a total of 36 Boeing B737-800s with more six more on order. Jeju Air expects to receive this additional aircraft by the end of 2019.

Jeju Air Launches Kansai-Guam Route
From 21st July, Jeju Air will launch a new flight service from Japan's Kansai International Airport - Guam. The service will operate 6 x weekly, representing 5,700 direct flight seats per month.
