Insel Air relaunch flights to Venezuela
Following a new agreement with the Venezuelan Civil Aviation Authority, Insel Air has got the go-ahead to relaunch flights from Simón Bolívar International Airport (CCS) and Josefa Camejo International Airport (LSP). The airline had to stop flying services from these two airlines due to a difficult financial situation, however, as things begin to settle, the airline will resume operating scheduled passenger services from these two airports.
Venezuela has proved to be a popular destination with InselAir passengers, so the airline will be pleased to be able to add it back to its route network as soon as possible.

Insel air may be the new air carrier fro Dutch civil servents
Dutch Government officials have just been allowed to fly with the Curacao airline InselAir. More than a year ago, the government decided to ban business trips with this company due to concerns over safety regulations. The problems at the airline and the aviation authority on Curaçao (CCAA) have largely been sorted and the airline now boasts an international standard. This was done with help from the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT). This eliminates the main cause of the flight ban that was imposed at the time and, according to Minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen (Infrastructure and Water Management), there is no longer any reason to maintain the ban in force.
