Iberia Express is a Spanish airline based in Madrid, at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport.
Iberia Express operates short and medium-haul flights to 31 destinations (26 international and 14 domestic). The airline's parent company is Iberia, a long-haul airline business and recognised as Spain’s largest transport group. This is due to leading the Europe to Latin America flight Market and having the largest number of destination services.
Iberia Express commenced operation in March 2012 and is now recognised as Europe’s most punctual European airline.
Iberia Express has codeshare agreements with LAN Airlines, Japan Airlines, Air Berlin, American Airlines, Finnair, Avianca, British Airways, Siberia Airlines and Royal Air Maroc.

Baggage
Hand Baggage is accepted on all fares. The maximum size of 1 piece of hand baggage is 25 x 45 x 56cm.
Checked Baggage must not exceed the weight of 23kg. If baggage weighs more than 23kg, an excess weight fee will apply.
Iberia Plus customers traveling Business Class can have 1 additional baggage (not exceeding 23kg) to take on board.

Iberia express partners with Tourism Ireland
Iberia express will work to grow Spanish tourist numbers by strengthening their partnership with the Irish tour company Tourism Ireland. The new friendship will allow Iberia Express to promote tickets to Cork, an Irish city, to Madrid the capital of Spain. Spain is the fifth largest market for Irish tourism, with travel by Spanish residents to Ireland has grown significantly over the past 17 years, going from just 90,000 Spanish visitors in 2000 to a record 443,200 in 2017. In a bid to ensure this growth continues, the Iberia Express promotion will run for the rest of 2018.

Iberia express celebrat 6 years in the air
Iberia express celebrates its sixth anniversary since it commenced operations in 2012. As part of its celebrations, it soffering passengers hefty discounts of up to 40% on all its routes! From April 3 to April 11, the company launches on its website a campaign to fly from April to June and enjoy the destinations in which the company operates.Customers who want to access these discounts must be part of Iberia's frequent flyer's club. For all those who are not yet part of this travelers club, the registration is completely free and has a private area that allows to streamline the purchase process, as well as access to other offers, special advantages and exclusive promotions.
As Iberia turns 6, it remains the most punctual 'low cost' airline in the world , according to the report of the consultancy FlightGlobal, as it has been for the past 4 years. Likewise, Iberia Express has established itself as the fourth operator at the Adolfo-Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport by passenger volume and the first on the routes connecting the Canary Islands airports with Madrid, the airline's operations center. Iberia Express operates 42 destinations, 29 of them in Europe and 13 in Spain. During this 2018 summer season that has just started, the company has launched two new destinations: Palermo, in Sicily and Mykonos, in the Greek islands.
April 2017
Iberia Express announced it was connecting Spanish and Welsh capitals. beria Express has brought forward its launch of flights between Madrid (MAD) and Cardiff (CWL). Originally scheduled to begin 8 June, the oneworld member brought the launch date forward to 6 April, with it operating a two-week schedule over the Easter break to meet demand. After 16 April, flights will then recommence on 8 June, the originally planned launch date, running twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays) until 28 September. The 1,210-kilometre sector will be flown on the airline’s fleet of 171-seat A320s facing no direct competition
