Fly Ernest or ,as it is now known, Ernest Airlines is an airline headquartered in Milan, with its secondary hubs in Tirana, Albania. Founded in 2015 as Fly Ernest, Ernest Airlines began flying in 2016. Ernest Airlines flies to destinations between Italy and Tirana, Albania: Ancona, Bari, Bergamo, Florence, Perugia, Pescara, Pisa, Rimini, Tirana, Trieste, Milan, Bologna, Cuneo, Verona, Venice, Rome. Fly Ernest offers 35 weekly flights, with a daily service from Ancona – Bari.
One service departs at 07:30 and form Bari, at 08:00 to Tirana, Albania. Ernest Airlines flights are operated by Mistral Air and is a low-cost carrier serving the Albanian-Italian market.

From January 2017, Fly Ernest started operating A319-100 aircraft. On the 9th November 2016 - Ernest Airlines secured its Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) from the Italian civil aviation authority. Ernest Airlines' s hub airport is Milan Malpensa Airport.

Fly Ernest passengers are permitted 1 x 8kg of hand luggage. This must not exceed 55 x 35 x 25 cm in dimensions.
Checked Baggage
Checked luggage is not included in the Fly Ernest ticket, unless specified otherwise in your ticket tariff. Passengers can purchase checked luggage up to three hours before departure, or at the airport where a higher price will be charged. Three weights are available for purchase: 15kg, 20kg and 25kg, and each passenger is eligible to purchase 3 items.

Airport Check-In
Passengers must check in at the airport for their Fly Ernest flights. The check-in desk will open 2 hours before the scheduled departure time, and will close 45 minutes before scheduled flight time.

Ernest Airlines to launch Kyiv- Bologna flights from June 2018
Italian low-cost carrier Ernest Airlines intends to commence operations between the Italian city of Bologna and the Ukrainian capital from June 22, 2018. This flight comes along with flights to Milan and Naples from the Sikorsky Kyiv international airport (Zhuliany). Bologna's proximity to the sea was a main factor in this decision, as well as the ease of transport from the Italian city to major tourist destinations.The flights will be serviced on Saturdays and Sundays by Airbus A319 (141 seats) and A320 (180 seats). The fares will start from €49.

Italian low cost Ernest Airlines to launch flights from Kyiv, Lviv to Italy
Ernest Airlines intends to start flying from Kyiv to Naples and Bergamo from Kyiv and to Naples, Venice and Bergamo from Lviv in 2017.
The airline said on its website that Kyiv-Naples flights will be serviced from Dec. 9, Kyiv-Bergamo from Dec. 4, Lviv-Bergamo from Oct. 20, and Lviv-Venice and Lviv-Naples from Dec. 8.
The one-way ticket price starts from 50 euro. The hand luggage of up to 10 kg is included.
Ernest Airlines is a small airline with Albanese roots and a fleet of two A320 and A319 planes. The airline services flights from Tirana (Albania) to several cities of Italy.

Ernest Airlines announced plans for a resumption of flights in early June
Scheduled passengers flights to the Albanian capital, Tirana, will commence on 1st June with services from Milan Mapensa and Pisa, followed by Venice Marco Polo on 2nd June, Bologna from 7th June and Verone from 22nd June.
Flights to Tirana from Genoa, Rome, Cuneo, Ancona and Rimini (hub for Air Vallee) are potentials but not available for booking.
In April 2017, Ernest Airlines announced it had temporarily suspended all operations as it prepares to transition from being a virtual carrier to using its own Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) and equipment. The Italian carrier recently concluded a charter contract withMistral Air ahead of the switch. As such, flights from Italy toTirana, Albania, are currently not available for sale with a statement on Fly Ernest's website stating it will unveil its new Summer 2017 timetable "very soon". Ernest Airlines took delivery of its first aircraft -A319-100EI-FVG (msn 1362) which is leased fromECAF I.
