About Andes Líneas Aéreas
The airline operates regional services, as well as charter flights to tourist destinations in Argentina and Brazil on behalf of local tour operators. Andes Líneas Aéreas's main base is Martín Miguel de Güemes Airport, with a hub at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, Buenos Aires. In September 2015, Andes Líneas Aéreas added an MD-88 (an ex-Aerolineas Argentinas aircraft) to its existing fleet of 3 MD-83s).
The twinjet was deployed on the Argentine domestic operator's network which includes Buenos aires Aeroparque, Puerto Madryn and Salta. Andes Líneas Aéreas has mainly operated scheduled services from Salta to Buenos Aire Aeroparque, with the services continuing to Puerto Madryn, in Patagonia.

Argentina’s Andes Lineas Aereas send humanitarian flight to the Falklands
Andes Lineas Aereas became the first Argentinian airlines to fly to the islands since the end of armed conflict. They sent two planes to the help the realtives of 215 fallen comrades. Representatives of Andes Lineas Aereas said that it .was a "great pride" to do so. The relatives were the families of 90 Argentinian soldiers who were killed in aremed conflict and have recently been identified. After the arrival of the two planes from the Andes Líneas Aéreas to the International Airport, the Defense Minister of the Nation Oscar Aguad, military and family authorities and ex-combatants, received the delegation. Through tears, hugs and expressions of gratitude, the Secretary of Human Rights of the Nation, Claudio Avruj, said that they saw for the first time in the Malvinas Islands "a cemetery full of life". He also thanked the companies that made this reality possible with their contributions, such as the businessman Eduardo Eurnekian and Andes Líneas Aéreas who contributed two McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft.

Argentina’s Andes Lineas Aereas has placed into service its first Boeing 737-800, which features the airline's new livery
The Salta-based carrier operated the aircraft on its new route between Buenos Aires Aeroparque and Bariloche.
Andes, which was an all-Boeing MD-80 operator, will receive two additional 737-800s by year-end.
Andes will configure its 737s with 189 seats, to allow the airline to better compete with Argentina's low-cost carriers. It also plans to grow into new charter markets.
Bariloche, which Andes will fly six times weekly to, is the airline's eighth domestic destination.
The airline also announced new routes from Buenos Aires to Iguazu, starting on 3 July, and to Tucuman, to be launched in September.

Andes Lineas Aereas has taken delivery of the first of two ex-Malaysia Airlines (MH, Kuala Lumpur Int'l) B737-800s
The addition is part of its previously announced fleet renewal plans as it moves more into a low-cost carrier model. The aircraft, registered LV-GWL joins Andes' fleet of five MD-83s and one MD-88s. The older McDonnell Douglas aircraft are expected to be phased out, although the definite timeline is not known.
The Argentine carrier currently serves the domestic market, connecting Buenos Aires Aeroparque with Córdoba Int'l, Jujuy, Mar del Plata, Mendoza, Puerto Madryn and Salta, and Salta with Jujuy. It recently gained route authorities to add Rosario, SF, Resistencia, Posadas, Iguaçu, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Neuquen, San Carlos de Bariloche, Comodoro Rivadavia, El Calafate, and Ushuaia to its domestic network, as well as international destinations Santiago de Chile Int'l, Lima Int'l and São Paulo Guarulhos.

Andes Lineas Aereas inaugurated its first flight between Buenos Aires and Las Termas de Rio Hondo
It should be noted that Andes Líneas Aéreas will have its frequencies, Mondays and Fridays with departures from Buenos Aires at 12.30 and arrival at Las Termas at 14.10 and departures from the thermal city at 15.00. Andes Líneas Aéreas will start flying to Las Termas de Río Hondo beginning next May 26, with two weekly frequencies (Monday and Friday).
The flights depart from Jorge Newbery Airport at 12.30 to arrive at Las Termas at 14.10. From the thermal city take off at 15, to reach the Argentine capital at 16.35.
