Air Inuit Baggage
Checked Baggage
Air Inuit checked baggage allowance for Boeing 737, Dash-8, and Twin Otter aircraft is a maximum weight of 30kg (66lbs), and for King Air aircraft, it is a maximum of 20kg (44lbs). If a passenger's itinerary includes a same-day transfer from one type of aircraft to another, the 30kg (66lbs) allowance will apply. If baggage is over the maximum weight, then a standardized excess baggage fee will be applied by the airline, up to a limit of 40kg unless pre-arranged or approved in advance. The maximum weight limit for a single piece of baggage is 32kg - any single piece of luggage over this weight will not be accepted as checked baggage and will be shipped as cargo. The maximum linear dimension per bag is 158cm (62 inches)
Carry-on Baggage
Air Inuit cabin baggage allowance for Boeing 737 and Dash-8 aircraft is 5kg (11lb) in weight, with maximum dimensions of 23cm x 37cm x 51cm (9 inches x 14.5 inches x 29 inches). Twin Otter aircraft carry on luggage must be a maximum weight of 5kg (11lb), with maximum dimensions of 23cm x 33cm x 33cm (9 inches x 13 inches x 13 inches). King Air aircraft cabin bag allowance is a maximum of 5kg (11lb) and has a size restriction of 20cm x 30cm x 33cm (8 inches x 12 inches x 13 inches). Alongside the cabin carry-on luggage allowance, each passenger may carry the following additional items for free: camera, laptop computer, diaper (nappy) bag, small purse (handbag), collapsable stroller (buggy), umbrella, food items in disposable packages, Portable Oxygen Container, CPAP machine, assistive devices, coat or other outer garment, child restraint device.

Airport Check-in
It is strongly advised that passengers arrive at the airport well in advance of flights, in order to check-in, drop off baggage, and go through security. For Montreal Pierre-Elliot Trudeau International and Quebec City Jean-Lesage airports, recommended check-in time is 90 minutes before departure time. Kuujjuaq, Puvirnituq, Inukjuak, and Kuujjuaraapik airports all have a recommended check-in time of 60 minutes before departure time. For all other airports, the recommended check-in time is 60 minutes before departure time. If you arrive after the latest deadline for check-in, your boarding will be denied.
