When am I first billed for my travel loan with Affirm?
Unless you're required to make a down payment, your first payment on your travel loan will start one calendar month after your Affirm loan is processed. Affirm will send you reminders to make your payments via SMS messages. After that, payments are billed each month for the duration of the plan you have applied for.
How do I make my Affirm payments?
When your Affirm loan has been accepted to set up a payment plan for your flights booked with Alternative Airlines, Affirm will send a payment reminder to you by either SMS or email, before each of your payments is due. It is advised that your Affirm account is updated with you contact information, such as your email and phone number in order to not miss a payment. You can also set up automatic payments with Affirm's AutoPay to ensure you don't miss a payment. Payments can be paid with either ACH transfer or with a Debit card through the Affirm website. Checks made payable to 'Affirm, Inc' can also be paid towards your Affirm payments.
What payment options are available to pay my Affirm payment plan?

What is an Affirm virtual card?
An Affirm virtual card is a digital card that displays the loan that is provided to you when it has been approved by Affirm or through the Affirm app. The virtual card is a 16-digit number that you input at the checkout and the card can only be used once. Can I pay for my flights after I travel with Affirm?
Yes. Depending on when you travel, you can pay for part of or all of your flight reservation after you travel! Affirm give you the option of three different flight payment plans — you can choose to pay off your airline tickets over 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.
Unless a down payment is required, your first payment is required one calendar month after the date your loan is processed. So, if you choose to pay over 6 months and your date of travel is only one month after you make your flight reservation, you will be paying for most of your flight reservation after you travel!
What are Affirm monthly payments?

Can I pay my Affirm travel loan off early?
Yes. You can pay off your Affirm travel loan early. If you pay off the entire value of your airline tickets before the end of the monthly plan, you'll only be charged interest on the amount of time that the travel loan was active.
Will Affirm check my credit score?
Yes. When you create an account with Affirm, they will evaluate your credit score with a 'soft' credit check. This will require a few personal details and is done to check your eligibility for financing flights. The 'soft' credit check will not affect your credit score. This process occurs when you have chosen the flights you wish to travel and selected Affirm at the checkout.
Is there a credit limit with Affirm?
Affirm is not a revolving line of credit and each Affirm loan application is reviewed individually as a closed-end transaction.
However, if you have not repaid a previous loan with Affirm and apply for another loan, you may be denied.
When is an Affirm down payment required?
Sometimes, Affirm will require a down payment in order to finance your flight reservation. Unfortunately, the amount of the down payment can't be changed. Once you've paid the down payment off by debit card, Affirm will loan you the money for the remainder of the flight reservation, which is to be paid off in a monthly payment plan.
